SCIENTISTS are preparing to explore an untouched world hidden beneath more than two miles of Antarctic ice, it was reported last night.
British, French, American, Russian and German scientists met in St Petersburg at the weekend to agree on the expedition to explore an underground body of water the size of Lake Ontario. It is believed it could harbour life forms never seen before.
