Life for hero's killer

An escaped prisoner who stabbed a man trying to foil a robbery was jailed for life for murder. Michael Quinn, 25, was on the run from Durham jail when he killed Alan Bryant, 50, during a raid on pub in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear.
