Police hope to be able to speak soon to Simon Willmott, critically injured when a concrete block was dropped through the windscreen of his car as he drove along the M3 in Hampshire.

The 22-year-old, of Bagshot, Surrey, who suffered severe chest injuries in the incident last month, has made good progress and was transferred yesterday from the Royal Brompton Hospital, London, to Frimley Park Hospital near his home. Police are treating the incident as attempted murder.
