Google’s Chrome web browser beta now available for Mac users

After many months of waiting, Google has finally launched its open source Chrome web browser for Mac computers.
According to technology Blog Mashable, consumers with a Mac running OS X 10.5 or later can now download the web browser (in its current beta form) from http://www.google.com/chrome
"If you're anything like us, you've been anxiously awaiting the chance to get your hands on the new browser since last year's release of the Windows version," wrote Jennifer Van Grove in her December 8 post on Mashable.
