MoD drops book ban

The Ministry of Defence has dropped its opposition to a book, Immediate Action, by former SAS sergeant Andy McNab after he and Transworld Publishers agreed to make "minor cuts" to the text. The MoD said it had launched its High Court action against the follow-up to McNab's best-seller Bravo Two Zero to avoid damage to national security and to protect the lives of serving personnel.
