FOUR people were reported to have died as Hurricane Georges hit Puerto Rico yesterday.
One was killed by flying debris, one electrocuted and two pensioners died from heart failure as the winds destroyed at least 60 homes. About 25,000 people remained in shelters and thousands were left without water and electricity.
The 110mph hurricane was heading across the Caribbean to Haiti and the Dominican Republic last night.
