Red Cross worker seized in Russia

A NEW ZEALANDER working for the International Committee of the Red Cross has been kidnapped in Russia's North Caucasus region, near to Chechnya. The foreign ministry spokesman said Geraldo Cruz Ribero, 55, had been seized in the town of Nalchik on Saturday.
