SALES of the Independent on Sunday last month averaged 401,000, a rise of 20,000 copies on February last year. The latest figures published by the Audit Bureau of Circulation show that average sales over the past six months reached 408,000 - 30,000 up on the last equivalent period in 1991-92. This 8 per cent rise is the highest of any national Sunday newspaper.
