Dick Spring, Ireland's deputy prime minister and foreign minister, joined calls for Sinn Fein to condemn terrorist-linked killings in Belfast. He said the recent shootings - claimed to have been carried out by an anti- drugs group with IRA connections - were "a worrying feature in the whole context of the Northern Ireland peace process".
