EDITH Gladwin, a pensioner, crashed her new Nissan car into an indoor swimming pool at Seaford, East Sussex, after accidentally hitting the accelerator instead of the brake, driving through a fence, across a garden and through a patio door. Ms Gladwin and her passenger were treated for shock.
