The chairman of the Securities and Investments Board, Andrew Large, is to give the Chancery Bar Association's spring lecture. He will look at the relationship between the system of regulation established under the 1986 Financial Services Act, related legislation and the common law. The lecture, which is intended for solicitors, accountants, bankers and others with an interest in the subject, is at 5.30pm on 7 March at the Great Hall, Lincoln's Inn.
