University students in Leeds hoping to find the magic formula to exam success can turn to their new chaplain for help - she is a white witch.
Susan Leybourne has been appointed as the first pagan university chaplain. She will guide students at Leeds University in magic, rituals and worship.
Ms Leybourne, 29, has the same responsibilities, influence and status as the university's 11 other chaplains, which include Christian denominations and a Jewish rabbi.
She was ordained as a pagan priestess at an American university and is a minister of the Congregational Church of Practical Theology. Students from Leeds University's Occult Society asked her to become their chaplain. As a priestess she will help mark festivals, such as Hallowe'en and the winter solstice. She will also perform rituals to help students' studies.
