A WIDOW, aged 66, was murdered at a bus station while returning from a hospital visit, it was revealed yesterday. Shirley Leach was found strangled and almost naked in the only cubicle open at night in a ladies' lavatory at the Interchange bus station at Bury, Greater Manchester, at 4.15am on Friday. She missed a connection after getting off a bus and had to wait 30 minutes. Police believe that was when the killer struck.
