Donald Steel, 61, and Elizabeth Jones, 47, employees of North Wiltshire District Council's environmental health department, were charged with corruptly receiving payments from a planning consultant. Steven Kingshot, 31, the council's former building control officer, is charged with making such payments and uttering a forged instrument in respect of a renovation grant. They are due before magistrates next month.
