The all-girl band All Saints won two Brit awards last night, scooping the prizes for best single and best video for their hit "Never Ever". As expected, the Verve were also successful, taking three awards, including the best British group.
While All Saints were at the ceremony to collect their awards, the Wigan rockers were playing at a charity concert in south London. The band also won the best producer award and their album Urban Hymns won best album. Many celebrities at the event were jostled by protesters campaigning against low pay in the music industry.
