Darwin the monkey, who shot to fame in December 2012, was at risk of being evicted from the Story Book Farm Primate Sanctuary.

The sanctuary had experienced difficulties raising money until a generous donor came forward to save the farm. Watch the video below to see the announcement.

Details of the arrangement are still to be confirmed but the new investment will help pay for more monkeys to be rescued from the exotic pet trade and research labs.
