A conservative senator yesterday filed a bill banning anyone engaged in 'immoral relations' from public office in the Philippines, AFP reports from Manila. The bill, introduced by Senator Francisco Tatad, a member of the conservative Catholic Opus Dei order, would ban those who had abandoned their spouses to live with someone else, or who had a child by anyone other than his or her spouse.
