Carlo De Benedetti, chief executive of Olivetti, was notified that he had been aded to the list of suspects in Italy's inquiry into political graft, Reuter reports from Milan. He told Milan magistrates on Sunday that his company had paid bribes to politicians to win contracts.
Giovanni Cherubini, former director of Olivetti's office in Rome, yesterday gave himself up to police.
