A Singapore court yesterday upheld a sentence of caning and imprisonment on an American teenage vandal whose case prompted an appeal from President Bill Clinton, Reuter reports from Singapore. Lawyers for Michael Peter Fay, 18, said they may ask President Ong Teng Cheong for clemency after the High Court rejected his appeal against sentence.
