PORT-AU-PRINCE - Haiti's authorities, in a statement that likened Washington's treatment of Haitians to Nazi Germany's treatment of Jews, denounced a US decree seizing the assets and revoking the visas of supporters of the Haitian military.
The harshly written communique singled out President Clinton for criticism and urged those affected by the US decree to remain calm in the face of aggression by 'enemies of the motherland.' Reuter
