GENEVA (Reuter) - The French Foreign Minister, Roland Dumas said yesterday that an EC package offer in the Uruguay Round of world trade talks was 'null and void'. Mr Dumas said the package, covering both industrial and agricultural dossiers in the negotiations, went beyond the EC Commission's mandate.
An EC spokesman said earlier the farm package, incorporating an EC-US deal, could be presented to Gatt last night but the industrial section would be delivered today.
