ROME (AP) - Five Ethiopians who commandeered an Ethiopian airliner to flee their country surrendered peacefully yesterday after being assured Italy would not send them home to face the death penalty. The hijackers released 79 passengers in Djibouti, the first stop in a day-long odyssey that also took the plane to Aden and Cairo before it landed in Rome.
