China has attacked a British parliamentary committee report on Hong Kong that backed London's uncompromising approach towards China, Reuter reports from Hong Kong. The Hong Kong branch of Xinhua News Agency, the de facto Chinese consulate, said the report deliberately confused right and wrong by supporting Governor Chris Patten's democratic reform plans for Hong Kong.
