Two Iranians sought by Switzerland for the 1990 murder of the elder brother of the Iranian opposition leader, Massoud Rajavi, have been sent back to Iran, Reuter reports from Paris. France said earlier that it had rejected Switzerland's extradition request for Sharif Esfanhi-Mashen and Ahmed Taheri, arrested in Paris in November 1992 in connection with the killing of Kazem Rajavi. The Prime Minister's office said they would not be extradited 'for reasons linked to the national interest'.
