CAIRO (AP) - A Libyan official said yesterday that his country has asked the United Nations to send an inspection team to Libya to ensure that there are no terrorist training camps there.
Boutros Boutros-Ghali, the UN Secretary-General, said on Wednesday that he hoped to send a mission to Libya 'in the next few days'. Mr Boutros- Ghali said the team would investigate actions Libya says it has taken to end its support for terrorist groups.
