OSLO - The Israeli Foreign Minister, Shimon Peres, said yesterday that he and the Palestine Liberation Organisation chairman, Yasser Arafat, had made 'some progress' on how to implement their stalled peace accord. After attending the funeral of the Norwegian Foreign Minister, Johan Jorgen Holst, who brokered the deal, Mr Peres and Mr Arafat expressed hopes of overcoming wide differences on limited self- rule in the Gaza strip and West Bank town of Jericho. The two leaders agreed to meet next Sunday in Switzerland. Reuter
