The video that maps terror attacks from 1985 to today

Graphic shows how terrorism has spread from central Europe and the Middle East as widely as Malaysia and Argentina

In the wake of the Paris attacks, a video has been uploaded to YouTube showing when and where terror attacks have occurred over the last 35 years.

The video, set to Mozart’s Requiem, is a chilling reminder of all those who have been victims of terror attacks, and comes in the wake of recent news of Boko Haram, Isis, al-Shabab, and Fulani militants being the most deadly terrorist groups in the world.

Starting with the 1981 Vienna synagogue attack, the video shows how terrorism has spread from central Europe and the Middle East through to places such as far-flung as Malaysia and Argentina, before finishing with the most recent attacks on Paris and Beirut.
