Buenos Aires (Reuter) - The South African President, F W de Klerk, yesterday criticised the Inkatha Party for repeatedly predicting a civil war, but said such an outcome could not be ruled out. 'I think that it is dangerous to preach civil war,' Mr de Klerk said at the end of a tour of South America. But he added: 'Obviously there's a worst-case scenario - things can go terribly wrong.' Mr de Klerk said he might arrange a special meeting with South African leaders to break a 'developing deadlock'. The Inkatha leader, Mangosuthu Buthelezi, warned earlier yesterday that current multi-party talks will lead to civil war if they continue in their present form.
