Metropolitan Police Inspector Gail Fitzgerald became a National Champion at Leamington Spa yesterday. She and her Haynes Park, Hornchurch, colleague Audrey Moore won the Double Century Sherry English Women's Pairs Championship, defeating Sheila Jones and Sue Hawksworth from Bridport 18-13.
