JALFREZI: appeared very unlucky not to gain her second success at Sandown on Saturday. Held up for a late run, she was boxed in until switched wide with a furlong to run, then failing to catch the winner, Rokeby Bowl, by a fast-diminishing neck. This is a filly with a fine burst of speed. (J Toller)
HERE COMES A STAR: now a seven-year-old but has won at least one race in each of the last four years. He indicated he could well extend that sequence into 1995 with an excellent run at York on Saturday, just failing to reach the frame in the sprint won by Al Wujud despite having had the worst draw of the 19 runners. (J M Carr)
HENRY KOEHLER: caught close home after looking certain to win at Yarmouth on Friday. This three-year-old, however, should make no mistake next time. (C Brittain)
