John Higgins quickly found his form after returning to the game at the European Players Tour Championship in Hamm, Germany last night, beating Martin Gould 4-3 to reach the last 16.
The win followed an emphatic 4-0 defeat of Dave Harold earlier in the evening. The Scot, who was suspended in May after allegations were made against him in a News of the World investigation, began his campaign with a patchy 4-2 win over Joe Jogia. Higgins plays Tom Ford this morning for a place in the quarter-finals.
