Carl Llewellyn returned to the saddle at Ludlow yesterday after a frustrating three months on the sidelines with broken vertebra. His mount,Stray Harmony, could manage only 13th place behind Non Vintage in the novice hurdle but Llewellyn was looking further ahead to Cheltenham and Aintree.
"Stray Harmony was the ideal ride for my return as she made me work a bit, which is what I needed just to make sure everything is in working order," Llewellyn said."I've been keeping fit by doing everything from biking, swimming, using a rowing machine and plenty of weight training. But there's no substitute for riding in a race."
