ABERDEEN HEATHER: showed a good turn of foot when winning on the sand at Ling- field. He has been out of the frame in three outings since on turf and has dropped considerably in the handicap ratings. Should be capable of winning on turf soon. (D Elsworth)
AUGHFAD: won three races in the hands of John Reid last season. He ran well in defeat behind Running Glimpse at Epsom on Friday, with John Williams in the saddle. When Reid is back up, a win is very much on the cards. (T Casey)
FIRST TRUMP: impressed on his debut at Yarmouth. This speedy juvenile half-brother to Mr Brooks should win again soon. (G Wragg).
