BLUE LION: denied a clear run throughout the last 300 yards when trying to challenge in Wagon Master's race at Newbury on Tuesday, eventually finishing third. Appeared very unlucky as he was full of running. This lightly raced three-year-old can soon find another winning opportunity in good company. (G Wragg)

TEANARCO: held up at rear at Salisbury on Thursday in her second race of the season, but made late headway into sixth, five lengths behind the winner, Neither Nor. Clearly she retains her speed. (P Murphy)
