ASSIGNMENT: was a creditable second to Running Glimpse in a six-furlong hadicap at Epsom on Wednesday after a lay-off of 165 days. Appears to have put disappointing early season form behind him and should be spot on next time. (J Ffitch-Heyes)
BUSTINETTA: having only the second race of her career chased home Big Easy in a graduation race for three-year-olds at Windsor on Monday. Strong in the betting, she will be better for the experience and, as a daughter of Bustino, should improve markedly through the season. (J Fanshawe).
RACING TELEGRAPH: the only previously unraced participant, this well regarded son of Claude Monet was sent off favourite to win his Epsom maiden. Despite pulling hard early on, he was running on at the finish under considerate handling. (J Pearce).
