France's Bertrand Pace made himself the local hero in La Rochelle yesterday when he came from behind to beat the American Paul Cayard in a curtailed best-of-three final of the World Match Racing Championship, writes Stuart Alexander. Due to the lack of any wind, Pace had to wait six hours before racing began.
