FOUR crew members of the French yacht, La Poste, have been detained in a Uruguayan jail after tying up a burglar in their crew house in Punta del Este, where the fourth leg of the Whitbread Round The World Race finished last week. Patrick Deloffe and Florence Rupert were charged with deprivation of liberty and assault, while Jacques Lemairie and Pascal Lassus were charged with deprivation of liberty only.
