FRITZZZ-FRATZZZ, winner of the first leg of the Teesside Two-Handed Round Britain and Ireland race, has retired after tangling with fishing nets off the west coast of Ireland in this year's race. The race leader, La Qota, a 60ft American trimaran, is 10 hours inside the schedule to break the record of 35hr 33min from Barra to Lerwick.
