The number of Mercedes Benz cars that China's leading athletics trainer, Ma Junren, is alleged to have kept, along with most of the money won by his women athletes. A report in the Chinese newspaper, the Liberation Daily, claimed that Ma had acquired three Mercedes and had spent £550,000 on a training centre in north-east China, out of total winnings of his athletes of £800,000.
