The number of clubs accepted into the 1993-94 FA Cup. Fifty-two gained byes into today's first round, Halifax Town, Yeovil Town and Woking as the non-Football League clubs 'considered most appropriate'. The tournament began with 135 preliminary ties on 28 August.
