The number of Test matches since a wicketkeeper scored a century for Australia, Wayne Phillips doing so against the West Indies at Bridgetown in 1984. The first - and last - to do so against England was Rod Marsh in the Centenary Test of March, 1977, making Ian Healy the first Australian centurion in Ashes Tests. For England, the feat has been accomplished by Les Ames (1934), Alan Knott (1974-75 and 1977), Jack Richards (1986-87) and Jack Russell (1989).
