UFC champion Ronda Rousey has continued her war of words with Floyd Mayweather, claiming that she earns more than double what the unbeaten boxer makes per second.
A couple of weeks ago, Rousey, who is also unbeaten with a 12-o record in the octagon, said she would beat Mayweather in any contest, and countered to Mayweather's jibe about how much he makes compared to what the UFC with:
"[Floyd] said, 'You make $300 million a night, then you can give me a call' ... and I actually did the math, and given the numbers of my last fight, I'm actually the highest-paid UFC fighter and I'm a woman," she said.
"I think I actually make two to three times more than he does per second ... so when he learns to read and write, he can text me," she said in a TMZ video.
Mayweather, 38, who will face Andre Berto in what he says will be his final contest before hanging up his gloves, has never lost in 48 fights. He made at least $220m for his win over Manny Pacquiao in May, in the most lucrative fight in boxing history.
Mayweather had said earlier this month about the UFC:
"I've yet to see any MMA fighter, or other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 minutes," Mayweather said. "When she can do that, then call me."
