12 questions you'll have to answer if you want to work at Snapchat
Based on interview questions, it seems Snapchat is investing a lot of resources in its Stories and in-house content creation

If you want to work at one of the hottest tech companies in the world, you will have to answer a few questions first.
Snapchat is valued at $16 billion. This year it rolled out its first revenue product, Discover. Live Stories, a feature where users can share photos and videos of a live event, is one of Snapchat's most lucrative business drivers.
Live Stories can apparently attract about 20 million people on average in a 24-hour span, which means that ad space on a 20-million-view story can be worth about $400,000.
Using Glassdoor, we've compiled questions from Snapchat's interview candidates. Based on the questions that candidates say they're being asked in interviews, it seems like Snapchat is investing a lot of resources in its Stories and in-house content creation.
Unlike companies like Google, which are infamous for giving their candidates impossible brainteaser interview questions, Snapchat's questions to potential hires are more straightforward — and they say a lot about what Snapchat wants to do as a company.
1. “Which brand is using Snapchat well?” — Content Specialist candidate

2. “Describe how you would design a quadcopter.” — Lead EE Architect candidate
3. “How would you solve bullying on Snapchat?” — Content Specialist candidate

4. "What is something you noticed in the consistency of Our Stories?" — Content Analyst candidate
5. "We want to get to know you as a political storyteller. Your submission can be 10 seconds or it can be 1,000 — just make sure it's good and focuses on politics. It can star a friend, a kitten, or the pigeon that won’t leave you alone, but we kindly ask that you stay behind camera. That being said, don't be shy about sharing your personality and showing your skills." — Content Analyst candidate
6. “What is your favorite author and director?” — Content Analyst candidate

7. “They ask you to create a part of a [Snapchat] Story during the in-person interview process.” — Content Analyst candidate
8. “Which [Snapchat] Story was your favorite, and which was the one you liked the least?” — Content Analyst candidate

9. “How do you work under pressure? Are you willing to work long hours, nights, & weekends?" — Trust and Safety Specialist candidate
10. "Who would you bring to Mars with you, and what values would you want the team there to have?” — Trust and Safety Specialist candidate

11. "If you could rename Snapchat without using the words snap or chat what would you name it?" — Content Analyst candidate
12. "What kind of storyteller are you?" — Content Analyst candidate
