One of the world's most important copies of the Koran is to be published online.
The volume, about 500 years old, is thought to have originated in Cairo, from the library of Kansuh al-Ghuri. It is kept at Manchester University and is so fragile it has never been displayed.
Experts will digitally photograph each of its pages to enable scholars to study it.
