Diablo III confirmed for Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PS3
New versions to be released on September 3rd, RRP of £49.99

Blizzard’s hit dungeon hack-and-slash game Diablo III has been confirmed for Xbox 360 and PS3. The console versions will be released on September 3rd with an RRP of £49.99.
When it was released for PC in May 2012 Diablo III set a new record for the fastest-selling PC game ever, clearing 3.5 million copies in the first 24 hours of release. It was a sequel to Diablo II, one of the most popular games of 2000.
Diablo III was a much-anticipated game but received equal amounts of criticism and acclaim, with many complaining about a non-existent endgame and an in-game Auction House that encouraged players to buy their way to better characters.
Patches over the year fixed many of these problems though, and Blizzard have confirmed that these changes will be kept for the console version.
The new version has “been custom tailored for gamepad-driven action, with a dynamic camera perspective that puts your hero front and centre, as well as an all=new user interface and an intuitive control system that make vanquishing evil feel like second nature.”
The game will also be ported to the PS4 but there’s no word yet as to whether it will be available for the Xbox One.
