Discounted video games announced ahead of Black Friday

Video games news site Joystiq have collated all of the Black Friday deep discounts scheduled for November Friday 27 and posted them on their website, for anyone wanting to plan their post-Thanksgiving holiday season shopping before jumping into the melee.
Deals include Dead Space: Extraction for the Wii going at Gamestop for $19.99 (usually $49.99), Dragon Age: Origins on PS3 and 360, and Left 4 Dead 2 for $34.99 at Best Buy (down from $59.99), and Target are offering Batman: Arkham Asylum for $37.00 (formerly $59.99) and the inclusion of a $10 gift card with full-priced $59.99 Assassin's Creed II and Modern Warfare 2.
Black Friday, the day that marks the beginning of a gift-buying frenzy in the USA, is also the day that many retailers go from being 'in the red' to 'in the black' in accountancy terms. Although not the busiest shopping day of the year in terms of revenue, many Americans take an extra day off in order to scout out the bargains - and to recover from the Thanksgiving feasting on the Thursday previous.
While many online retailers wait until the following Monday, known as Cyber Monday, to start their own cut-price extravaganzas, Amazon are among the e-merchants who are off the mark early, with a "meet or beat" strategy in place.
