Beefy online racing game Auto Club Revolution has started its beta test, and any remaining hopefuls have until July 31 to register their interest in participating.
The company behind ACR, Eutechnyx, produced Super Car Challenge and Ferrari Challenge for the PlayStation 3, and NASCAR 2011 for PS3, 360 and Wii. Now, their attentions turn to PC gaming.
The challenging Spa-Francorchamps circuit, home of the Belgian Grand Prix, is one of two tracks to feature in the invite-only beta's first phase.
The other is fictional high-speed track L.A. River, and a further six tracks - three licensed and three custom - will be added to the mix as the beta progresses.
Fourteen cars are available from the get-go, ranging from hot hatches like the Mini Cooper and VW Golf up to exotic supercars such as the McLaren F1, Bugatti Veyron and Pagani Zonda.
When Auto Club Revolution opens to all later this year, it will be in competition with Trackmania2 Canyon and its custom track creator.
On consoles, Forza Motorsport 4 and Need for Speed: The Run are also due around the same time.
