Steam takes a chunk off Rift's retail price, Direct2Drive offers a couple of Ghostbusters games at a discount, and the original Witcher at Good Old Games is certainly worth a look for bargain hunters.

Various games in the RollerCoaster Tycoon series are among Direct2Drive's promotion, with the third in the series currently much cheaper on the UK site than in the US.

Age of Booty is deal of the week on Xbox LIVE, but there's no need for PC owners to miss out as there is a comparative price cut over at GamersGate, which is also selling the Splinter Cell series at a significant discount.

Impulse has Magicka and its Vietnam add-on in the bargain bucket, due to the imminent arrival of Magicka: Nippon at the end of the month.
