The top of Twitter’s trending topic list is filled with the hashtags "#itshardwhen," "#myworldmemories" and "#myfavoriteartist" on the morning of May 19.

"DIMENTION CODY" and "DIFOLLOWBACK TAYLOR SWIFT," tweet microbloggers, hoping country singer Taylor Swift and Australian pop singer Cody Simpson will follow them.

Twitterers are posting images of a headline that appeared on The Guardian iPhone app along with name of British politician "Ken Clarke," while others are angrily criticizing the Justice Secretary’s comments on rape sentencing.  

TThe Guardian iPhone app has cut down the Ken Clarke story headline and made it appear a whole lot worse," tweet people talking about the headline that reads "Kenneth Clarke forced to apologise for rape..."

Twitterers are posting the release date of Beyonce’s fourth album "4” (June 28) with the term "4Beyonce."

The name of Mexican journalist "César Vidal" is in sixth place, and the name of former International Monetary Fund chief "Dominique Strauss-Kahn" is in tenth place.

Former Taoiseach and Irish politician "Garret Fitzgerald" passed away aged 85, pushing his name into eighth place in the chart.
