The world's largest 3D LCD TV display will be shown to the public for the first time at the forthcoming FPD International 2010 - an event showcasing next generation display technologies.
The 71 inch 21:9 Cinema Scope high definition 3D TV LCD panel made by AU Optronics Corp. (AUO) will be shown alongside other awe-inspiring examples of the latest 3D display technologies, touch panels and e-paper from the top five LCD makers - AUO, Chimei Innolux, LG Display, Samsung Electronics/Samsung Mobile Display and Sharp - and other key players in the industry.
Samsungamoled.net reports that Samsung will be showing off its latest display technology at the event; a super slim, high resolution (800 x 480) 4.5 inch flexible AMOLED screen that could be used in smartphones, tablets and other consumer electronics products in the near future.
Attendees will also have hands-on previews of tomorrow's technology highlights including large-scale interactive 3D touch panels for video game applications, solar powered devices, expansive 3D displays that can be viewed with the naked eye, displays that can track player's movements with integrated infrared video cameras, plus the next generation of interactive 4 inch 3D touch panels for use in tomorrow's smartphones and tablets.
The FPD International 2010 runs concurrently to the Green Device 2010 exhibition at the Makuhari Messe in Japan from November 10 to 12, 2010.
